Sunday Services

Momentum is one church that meets in two different locations on Sunday mornings. We meet at the Maple Leaf School in Garfield Heights at 10:30 AM on Sunday mornings and starting Sunday, September 7th, we will open our Twinsburg/Macedonia Campus that will meet at 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00 AM at 1717 E. Aurora Road in Macedonia.
Our service is roughly an hour and fifteen minutes long. Yes, we’re out in plenty of time to grab lunch and still catch some of the NFL pre-game on Fox!

Frequently Asked Questions

What does a typical Sunday morning look like?

Great question! We’ll be asking that same question each week. Each Sunday morning will have a very unique thumbprint, including great live music, high-quality videos, a relevant message (you’ll enjoy this way more than you’re expecting), and maybe a few good belly laughs. We hope to be very creative (as Jesus was) in how we communicate our weekly topics. One Sunday, there might be a painter creating something on a canvas while the band is playing, another week there might be a funny Top Ten List or an improv skit that sets up the sermon. We talk about reallife issues… but we also believe that God is the creator of joy. It’s okay to smile here.

What should I wear?

Whatever you want to wear. Our only dress code is: Please do! Jeans, T-shirts, shorts, flip-flops, tennis shoes, and the like are commonly found at Momentum.

Do I need to bring a Bible on Sunday morning?

Nope. We are assuming you don’t have one (or at least one that you can understand). All of the Bible verses we use will be printed in clear English on the big screen and free Bibles will be provided each week for you to use and/or take home to keep. If you already own a Bible that you really like, feel free to bring it.

What style of music will you be playing on Sunday mornings?

We’ll be rockin’ a full band and playing worship tunes that are pretty much the same style as what you would hear on a good radio station. Our music will often be a mix of modern rock, funk, and hip-hop.

We will also be covering songs from the radio every week (i.e., Dave Matthews, Green Day, Linkin Park, Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige) that tie in with the topic we are tackling that Sunday. Religious or not, mainstream music is often asking questions about, or suggesting answers to, the spiritual questions that our whole culture is also asking.
